Can't decide if I want this as a 2 or 3 but let's say 2.5. Lots of set-up to establish that hero has a messed up family and childhood and is kinky. Except he's not very, he's just using restraints and has his brother lay down the rules in order to maintain emotional distance. I kept waiting for the poor woman chosen to show this aspect of the hero to actually be smart enough to negotiate. Where's the hero's signature on a NDA; where's his signature promising not to release any tapes (his brother says but..) with a good, high penalty payment if they leak.

The set-up for the heroine establishes that she is panicked by a stalker and she has some TSTL moments. I liked the reconnection bit between the two mostly because they actually behaved like adults. He didn't fly into a hurt rage but listened to her explanation (in its several parts) patiently and agreed it was a reasonable response to the situation. She was nervous but confronted the issue within the first meeting instead of dithering until the delay became an issue itself. There were some plot twists that were interesting. I would have put it at a one if the poor beginning had been followed by an equally poor or average reconnection but the later half bumped it up.

In this book set Knox and Mica meet and fall in love but then don't see each other again for 10 years. They both have messed up childhoods and families. They have alot to deal with but will it drive them closer or farther apart?
I loved this one just as much as I loved the Edge of the Heat series. I so look forward to reading about his brothers too. And I hope that someday there will be one for his sister too.
I was happy to have these books flow from one to the next so smoothly with the characters you meet along the way. Each book still having the prior characters show up to help with their job skills or friendships appearing when needed. I really enjoyed these stories so much I've now bought every book I could find from this author and read them all.
This was an awesome series Knox is a big alpha male with a heart of gold when it comes to those he loves. He finds the woman of his dreams only to loose her again when she disappears, because she has to disappear in order to survive. Love and loss and second chances..
I really enjoyed your story about the Rosesson family. They certainly had quite a collection of secrets. I thought Mica and Knox had quite an exciting relationship. I was happy that they found healing and love in spite of their past hurts. I would have liked it if you had found Dick Bailey, but maybe you are saving his demise for another time.
I read the prequel to this series and couldn't wait to see where "Rachel" and Knox went from the cliffhanger. It is really important to read book one to get the best understanding of how things are between the two and how they get to they point they are at ten years later. I was definitely not disappointed on how the story went. I will be looking for more books by this author.

Wow. Loved this saga of Knox. Still busy with the other brothers books. Lisa Ladew you write lovely books. Full of gorgeous guy characters and strong minded women. Just as it should be. The story lines are also a page turner as well. One I start one of your books everything comes to a standstill in my home. Thank goodness I'm single and all the children have left the coop so to speak. But your books perk me up no end and a welcome peaceful time Well done and now for the second book of the Switch series God blexx and happy writing
