The Angel Stone Book Three of the Fairwick Trilogy The Fairwick Trilogy Juliet Dark 9780345533395 Books

I must confess that I haven't read the other two books in this series, but this cover was so beautiful and enchanting that it drew me and demanded that I read this one. Not an issue, I was able to figure out what I needed to through the brief recounting the author does, and went on to enjoy this book immensely. Of course, now I want to go back and read the others.

If you enjoy atmospheric novels this one is a good bet. I got the Gothic feel all the way through the book, and the dialogue is fantastic as well. The characters feel very natural and it was easy to find myself imagining that I was the one talking to them.

The main character in this book is great and has a lot of personality and traits that make her not only a good heroine, but the kind of girl you want to become friends with.

Over all, this was a very enjoyable story that I am happy to recommend to others.

The Angel Stone Book Three of the Fairwick Trilogy The Fairwick Trilogy Juliet Dark 9780345533395 Books Reviews

I am swooning! I just read the most beautifully satisfying ending I have ever read!!! Need I say more?! This is a MUST READ TRILOGY!
,loved the whole trilogy! A satisfying ending and would love to see it co it Jed. But alas, I don’t think so.
I loved the first 2 books. This one was a little long without much excitement. I got 2/3 of the way through and just could not find the will power to finish it. The constant references of William not being the same man as Liam or Bill was enough to make me want to shoot someone.

I have read many of this author's other books under different pen names and found the same pattern. The first book or two are great and the next one fizzles out.

In this case third time is not the charm.
Ms. Dark has written a fine trilogy. I finished each book and immediately got the next on my kindle. Combining history, folklore, steamy sex (those scenes could have been a little longer,) and nearly every mythical (?) creature imaginable, she has woven a captivating tale of Callie McFay coming into her magical heritage and finding home. My next task is researching a folkloric author she references and if she proves real it's the final icing. Start at the beginning with "Demon Lover"

and read all three!
Thoroughly enjoyed this third book in the Fairwick Trilogy. I have found that often it is difficult for an author to write a series of books without spending a lot of time repeating much of the story they have already told - not so with Juliet Dark a.k.a. Carol Goodman. You will not be disappointed. I continue to be a fan of Carol Goodman regardless of the pseudonym she may use. My Mom is also a fan and now the next generation, my daughter and my son's girlfriend are fans too!

So grab the book, curl up in a comfortable chair and don't plan to do anything else until the last page has been turned!
As I'd hoped the ending was great and well worth the read. I won't give anything away but I will say I would have liked to have seen the ending part stretch out a bit more. It seems as if the entire series was to end with a certain purpose and I just would have liked the ending to draw out some.. that's all! -)

This book was good and moved fairly quickly. Everything seemed to make sense and helped some things fall into place while also initiating a few questions.

Overall I would recommend this read especially to those that have read the previous two books.
I finished the trilogy in three days. What a wonderful book! Loved it! And what I liked the most was that the author not only drew from her experiences as a writer, as an academic faculty but also she built the plot with a lot of folklore and it just made the story unique and engaging. At the end, I said to myself... "Oww.... What a great book!!!" And I was sad the book had ended. I recommend it!
I love to read. The first book was good until the end. I guess it was supposed to be a cliffhanger. I read the second book more as a continuation of the first. It started getting way too political. Everything from global warming to Occupy Narnia. I read to be entertained not lectured to. The trilogy became focused on making political statements and the story became more about the authors political views. You can even compare the closing of the portal to building a wall. It became preachy and contrived.

I found the main character cold and unfeeling at times. She would give herself completely then become cold and unfeeling and not someone I cared about. I read to be entertained, not lectured to.

I love Sarah Maas and Cassandra Clare especially the Clockwork series.
I must confess that I haven't read the other two books in this series, but this cover was so beautiful and enchanting that it drew me and demanded that I read this one.
